Alternative TitleMercury and selenium in arthropods and their bioaccumulation across food webs

Abstract选择贵州万山汞矿区及雷山参考点,采集了7属9种陆生常见节肢动物,分析了其体内的汞、硒和delta~(13)C、delta~(15)N含量特征,探讨了联合暴露下硒、汞在陆生食物链的传递规律。结果表明: 参考点节肢动物体内汞、硒平均含量分别为157329和190277 ng·g~(-1),显著低于汞矿区汞、硒的平均含量56921472和2220691 ng·g~(-1); 无论是汞矿区还是对照区,肉食性动物体内汞含量显著高于植食性动物,表现出显著的生物积累与放大效应; 而硒在肉食性与植食性动物之间没有显著差异,表明硒在节肢动物体内不具有生物积累放大效应。在自然背景条件下,节肢动物体内硒含量与汞含量呈显著正相关(r = 0.983,P<0.001),硒、汞摩尔比接近2 ∶ 1,同时节肢动物体内汞含量与delta~(15)N含量呈正相关(r = 0.434,P<0.001),而与 delta~(13)C关系不明显,表明动物体内delta~(15)N较delta~(13)C更能反映捕食与被捕食营养关系。
Other AbstractSeven different types of arthropods,including nine species,were collected from Wanshan mercury (Hg) mining region and Leishan control site for Hg and selenium (Se) analysis. Stable isotopes delta~(13)C and delta~(15)N were also measured. Results showed that average concentrations of Hg and Se in arthropods were 157329 and 190277 ng·g~(-1) in Leishan,respectively,which were much lower than the 56921472 ng·g~(-1) for Hg and 2220691 ng·g~(-1) for Se in Wanshan. Mercury concentrations in carnivorous species were significantly higher than those of herbivorous animals from both Hg mining region and control site,demonstrating Hgs ability to bioaccumulate across food webs. However,Se did not show bioaccumulation in arthropods. A significant positive correlation (r = 0.983,P<0.001) between Se and Hg was observed in samples collected from the control site with a molar ratio of 2 ∶ 1,but such a relationship was not found in the Hg mining region. A positive correlation (r = 0.434,P<0.001) between delta~(15)N with Hg showed that delta~(15)N could better reflect the relationship among predators and prey than delta~(13)C did.
